Conn Creek Anthology Wine "BEST IN SHOW" at 2008 Indy International Wine Competition

Conn Creek Anthology '04 wins the prestigious honor of "Best in Show" at this year's Indy International Wine Compeition.

One of the largest wine competitions in the nation, and the second largest amateur wine competition, the Indy International Wine Competition brought in over 3,200 wines from 15 countries.  Over the course of three days, 75 judges from around the country (one being In Vie's own Marie Silberstein, who has judged for the competition several times), to review approximately 120 wines a day, judging them on appearance, aroma, taste, and aftertaste.

Wines can be awarded a gold, silver, bronze, or no medal. About 10% of the wines receive a gold medal, and about 10% of the gold medal wines receive a Double Gold medal (meaning all judges gave the wine a gold medal score). Double Gold winners are then judged against each other by class (Chardonnay, Bordeaux blends, etc.), and winners from each class are then judged together at the end of the show, when all judges vote on which wine they feel is the best of the best... the Best of Show!  This year, Conn Creek Anthology won this coveted designation.
